Ravi Shah
(Birthday 5th September 1963)
Ravi came to live in the Millhouse with his best friend, Ant Webster. He works as a barrister at Philip Webster's firm (Ant's father). Ravi now lives with his wife Sam and his cousin Jyoti. He had a relationship with Sam for eight years before they were married on their second attempt at a ceremony (Sam being held hostage on the first occasion). Ravi is a mild-mannered and pleasant person but he can be old-fashioned in his opinions: Sam often tries to make him act more forcefully. Their marriage has experienced some ups and downs but on the whole they have always managed to work things out.
Presently, Ravi is having an affair with a client, Meg Bartlett, which is spiralling out of control.
