Postal charges - these were either paid for by the Ebay buyers or for the onsite auction and raffle, a fund was already set up to pay for this with the remit that any remaining amounts should be passed on to Plan UK.

This means that EVERY SINGLE PENNY raised in all areas went to PLAN UK in the week (Monday 12th December 2004).

We spoke to James Gaddas on Friday night and he is grateful for all those who have so kindly supported this effort in anyway they could. This not only includes the bidders and raffle entrants, but all the anonymous donations, costs absorbed by the PayPal account holders and Ebay account holders as well as those who have given considerable amounts of time free of charge to enable this to go ahead.
