London Bridge

Mandana Jones

MONDAY 6 APRIL 1998

Allie (Dawn McDaniel) is starting to lose the feeling in her hands.
Her plight sends Freddie (Nicholas Pritchard) to see Sam (Mandana Jones) at her surgery, to beg more information on his girlfriend's illness.
But the doctor's refusal to break her patient's confidentiality angers Freddie, and he storms out of her office.
Meanwhile Allie does her best to prepare Freddie's son and her unrequited admirer Sean (Jay Lewis) for a future in which she may not always be around.
But he misconstrues her meaning, with emotional consequences for his father.
Ravi's (Ayub Khan Din) quiet breakfast is spoilt by his niece Jyoti's (Sunetra Sarker) hasty rush for food, but more worryingly by a call from his lover Meg (Helene Kvale).
But his irritation at her brazen attitude in phoning him at home doesn't stop Ravi from meeting her later in a park - and then continuing their liaison in a hotel bedroom.
