MONDAY 6 OCTOBER 1997
Dave Symmons (Reginald Tsiboe) doesn't want to put off any longer his trip home to Ghana with his wife Diane (Ellen Thomas).
But his travel plans come just as Diane discovers that their daughter Kim (Kemi Baruwa) has spent a night with one of the builders working at the Millhouse, Peter (Connor McIntyre), after they met at the party. Lucy (Amelia Curtis) is not only feeling the heat in SE1's kitchen but also from the two heavies chasing her for the loan repayment.
But will she turn to her part-time stripping act or to Freddie Chapel's (Nicholas Pritchard) financial acumen as a way out of her dilemma? Rebuffed by Lucy when he suggests they have a night out after work, Cliff's (Billy Geraghty) mood is hardly lightened when policeman Noel Symmons (Alan Cooke) baits him about his part in Nick Kemp's death.
Although Claire Turner confessed to the killing while she held Sam hostage, Noel maintains her confession wouldn't stand up in court, and promises Cliff he intends to prove he is the murderer. This episode is written by Jeff Povey and directed by Roberto Bangura. .
